The Brown Colours made head lines on Tuesday mid-day as team apparently decided to terms using their quarterback for the future, Brandon Weeden. The offer is apparently worth a bit more than $8 million, and includes guaranteed money for 3 seasons along with a partial guarantee for that 4th year.
Weeden's contract was stated to become the most challenging of all the Browns newbies as reviews appeared the two sides were stuck on discussions since between late May. Browns fans and also the front office were starting to question if Cleveland might have the previous Oklahoma Condition star in training camping in a few days. However, since contractual issues are aside, Cleveland's faithful can change their focus on a different sort of quarterback conundrum.
Mind coach Pat Shurmur mentioned in recent interviews he want to announce his beginning quarterback for that 2012 season "at some point.Inch This means that the leading office has either made the decision around the starter with this season already, or is going to do so inside the first couple of days of coaching camping. Early signs state that Weeden is preferred to do the job, and it has outplayed both Colt McCoy and Seneca Wallace throughout OTA's and minicamps.
